in the photo below you will find a shit ton of legal research. actually, let me qualify that, below you will find a shit ton of legal research provided to me by legal writing professor. i am not even required to conduct the actualy research - that is the next assignment. never have i dissected the elements of written word more than I have this week and this is the easy stuff!!! well, at least the information is as interesting as it is overwhelming.

i’ve been in law school for three weeks and a half weeks and it has become quite evident that lawyering, at least initially, is far less about catchy phrases to the jury (if the glove don’t fit, eh) and far more about critical thinking and attention to detail. law school ain’t glamorous, folks. my days are filled with class;  my nights with homework; my dreams with legal concepts literally floating across my head (i’m talking to you elements of consideration). there truly is no escape. with that said, i like it. i made the right decision and so far i am succeeding. we will see what i have to say come finals..
