What’s the difference between the IRS-hating Pilot and the Fort Hood Shooter?
Newsweek seems to think the former is a terrorist and the latter is not. Salon’s Glenn Greenwald believes otherwise. Mr. Greenwald is correct. Read his response here.
Co-sign. No idea it’s just now getting its release -had this in April or May. One of the best songs off one of last this year’s best albums.
Daniel Merriweather: “Cigarettes”
I’ve been committed to this song for a long time, since I first heard it in early 2008. It’s been a long road for Merriweather, whose debut, Love & War, was released in June 2009 in England, but is only just getting release in the States today. Not many people will care and it’s hardly a revelation. But this song feels like early ’70s Rod Stewart and there aren’t many things in the world better than early ’70s Rod Stewart.
ESPN, cancel Sportsnation and give this man a platform. World’s most interesting (still active - I see you Mike Tyson) around.
